1. You didn't machine wash it before your first use
The first but most skipped over instruction is to throw your new MakeUp Eraser in the machine with any load of laundry before your first use. This is because washing it activates the fibers in the cloth to start working. If this step is skipped, you may have a harder time to remove your makeup.
2. You're using it dry
Water is the most important ingredient... hey it's our only ingredient! Make sure you are fully saturating the part of the cloth you are using to remove your makeup. Let the water really absorb into the cloth. We like to say: The warmer the water, the wetter the better!
3. You're not using the short fiber side with circular motions to erase
The short fiber side of the eraser is to remove your makeup. Once you remove your makeup, flip your eraser over and use the longer fiber side (side with tag) to exfoilate. Be sure to always use circular motions on your face, especially around the eyes! When using the circular technique you will not have to rub hard or pull the skin. The fibers will break up the dirt, oils and makeup effortlessly.

I received a “free” trial size MUE and it was approximately 3”x3” so not very large at all. It took me a few uses to love this product but I think that was only because I was so used to reaching for my good old makeup wipes that I was fully trying out the mue! Once I gave it 100% and got rid of the makeup wipes I fell in love with this product more and more with each use! My face felt, looked, and was cleaner than it’s been a very long time? I used the trial size for months and it continues to work amazingly! I just recently purchased a bigger size mue with a watermelon 🍉 design and I made sure that I machine washed it lol 😂 and I won’t use anything else for makeup removal or face exfoliating!
I received my MUE from my FabFitFun subscription. I had no idea how much I needed a MUE in my life. My 12 year old daughter is a dancer and is required to wear performance make-up during her dance performances. She can’t use make-up remover wipes because she has sensitive skin and if she uses face wash it getS in her eyes and burns. So this MUE is a game changer! Removing her performance make-up by using the MUE has changed our lives. No more skin irritating wipes, no more soap in her eyes, no more tears!

I was a true neutrogena wipes user – I wear 4 coats of waterproof mascara and it was the only thing that worked. I would sometimes still have black smudges under my eyes and hated using an oily wipe to get it off. This WORKS and NO residue!!!! Perfect for touch ups and 2nd day make up. I was a total skeptic but while it does deliver!
Bought the makeup eraser limited edition pineapple theme. But unfortunately I forgot to wash it prior to using it cause I was soooo excited to use >.< it still worked but I’m bummed I forgot to pre-wash it. But overall works amazing! I hate getting makeup wipes so it’s awesome to have something like this that I can bring anywhere and not waste my money!
